The map on Google Maps shows when and where some people in the genealogy resided at specific times in their lives. The identification of the person in the genealogy is given by the # sign followed by a number.

Click on The Jefferies Map to access it.  This requires an active connection to the Internet.

This should open in a new window or tab depending how your browser is set. The map may not show all localities on first opening, move the map around or zoom out to see all.
Clicking on the blue markers on the map should open a label with information. Some localities will need to be zoomed in to to see all the markers in a particular area.

It shows how the family moved around as social conditions changed; for example that Peter Button Jefferies, #7 and his wife, Sarah, nee Harrington, #9, moved to Streatham, Surrey from Castle Hedingham in April 1875 where he created a business as a boot maker.

NOTE:- The numbering and detail is not guaranteed to be accurate as I edit the database; but the names are! As this is an ongoing work, please report any errors and further information, which is very welcome, to Michael Jefferies.
