DNA tests connected to the families of the maternal ancestors of Tom Galton's mother Sarah Ann Davis.
Sarah Ann's parents were James Davis and Ann Gatrell and united two families with roots mainly in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. There are some serious issues with DNA matches around this part of the family that suggest the Spickernell line has some genetic links to the Davis line but it not clear what so far.
